Summer Reading

Photobucket
We have been going to our
local library at least once
a week. Here in our town they
encourage kids to read. The kids
sign up for the reading program.
They earn prizes for reading lots
of good books.

And they have special programs for
the kids every thursday. Then at the
end of the summer they throw a party
for the kids who were in the program.
Those who read alot of books get a prize
if thier name is picked in the drawing.

I have been reading too! I really love
a good book. I collect them too! Here
are some of the books I read this summer
so far:

1)Mommywood By:Tori Spelling
2)Root Of Rejection By: Joyce Meyers
3)So,Not Happening By: Jenny B. Jones
4)Sundays At Tiffanys By: James Patterson

I am now reading "Never Give Up" By:
Joyce Meyers. And lots of magizines. And
of course my handy dandy, bible! Always
check out that good book! There is nothing
better then a good snack, and a good book!!

  1. I remember being in a summer reading program when I was a kid. It was a lot of what you described. Reading is fun and kids should be made aware of that. There are so many worlds that you can go to with a book. And they take your mind off your problems for a little while. Kudos for establishing a reading regimen for your kids. They will thank you for it later.
